Download torrents on your computer with TotalD

TotalD handles torrent files and magnet links with support for the latest BitTorrent protocol extensions.

Torrent is one of the most common protocols for file sharing. TotalD is a BitTorrent client that can download torrent files and magnet links.

TotalD manages your .torrent files to download and share them automatically. From the Options window you can set upload and download speed limits, the number of torrents in the queue, connection limits and many other options.

Protocol extensions: uTP, BitTorrent Extension Protocol, PeX, DHT, IPv6, Multitracker Extension, Local Peer Discovery and UDP Tracker Protocol.
Automatic request queue to improve download speed.

Fast guide to downloading torrents

Step 1
Click a magnet link on a website. TotalD will open the “Add torrent” window, where you can configure the download parameters and choose the destination folder. Accept to add the torrent to the Downloads screen.
Alternative
Download the torrent file and double-click it. TotalD and the “Add torrent” window will open automatically. Accept to add the file to the Downloads screen.

Direct Download

Many file-hosting sites supported

TotalD automates direct downloads and handles waiting times for you.

This download manager is specially designed to optimize and automate downloads from file-hosting sites. TotalD accesses the page where a file is hosted, waits for the required time and starts each download at the maximum speed available.

The supported-sites database is updated frequently and includes services such as Rapidgator, Zippyshare, Uploaded, Mega and MediaFire.

TotalD supports both free and premium accounts. You can enter the username and password for your premium accounts in the Options window.

Fast guide to direct downloads

Step 1
Copy the text containing the download links. In the “Add Downloads” window, click “Paste and Detect Links”. This is unnecessary when “Capture Links” is enabled, because TotalD will monitor the clipboard automatically.
Step 2
TotalD checks whether the links are available. Available links receive a green check and are selected automatically. Uncheck anything you do not want, then click “Download Selected” or choose “Download Selected to Folder” to specify a destination and other parameters.
The selected files are added to the list on the Downloads screen.

YouTube

Download online videos from major sites

Save YouTube videos to watch later, even without an Internet connection.

TotalD recognizes video links from major online-video sites. When the video server supports it, as YouTube does, you can choose the quality you want to download.

Step 1

TotalD checks the links on the server. Available links receive a green check and are selected automatically. Uncheck anything you do not want, then click “Download Selected” to use the default folder or “Download Selected to Folder” to choose another destination.
Step 3
If the server supports multiple formats, a window opens automatically when the download begins so you can choose the video quality. The video is then added to the list on the Downloads screen.
